Mon, Dec 22, 2014 -- READ TO JASMINE THE THERAPY DOG! at 4:00 PM

Jasmine, a certified therapy dog will be visiting the Children's Room two Mondays per month at 4:00 pm! Children need to sign-up in advance to read to Jasmine. Each "reading visit" lasts approximately 20 minutes, allowing enough time for Jasmine to enjoy a short story or a chapter of a book. Children will increase their self-confindence and become excited about reading -- just by reading to Jasmine! Jasmine is a lovable, hypo-allergenic Labradoodle! Jasmine and her owner/trainer Ruth Lull, are certified by Therapy Dogs International (TDI), a non-profit organization committed to helping people through pet assisted therapy. For additional information or to sign-up, please email the Youth Services Librarian, at or call the Library at 978-263-4680.
