Obituary: William Murchie Riegel

RIEGEL, William Murchie 86, of Duxbury MA and Scottsdale AZ. Born January 25, 1928 in New York City to John Lawrence Riegel and Margaret Murchie Riegel, Bill was a graduate of Deerfield Academy ('46) and Williams College ('50), and he served as a Naval officer in the 6th fleet from 1952 until 1955. Mr. Riegel began his career in the paper, packaging and forest products industry at the Riegel Paper Company in Riegelsville, PA, which was founded by his great grandfather John Leidy Riegel, eventually rising to become Executive Vice President. MAHONEY, Daniel Arthur 71, of Duxbury, MA, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with Leukemia. The son of the late Daniel A. Mahoney and the late Orvetta T. NASH, Polly Parsons Passed away peacefully on July 16 at the age of 78. Daughter of Helen Wilcox Parsons and Brackett Parsons of Wellesley Hills, MA, and sister of the late Susan Parsons of Boston, she attended Beaver Country Day School in Brookline, before attending Colby Junior College (now Colby Sawyer), where she graduated in 1955. He went on to work at Filenes Basement, Raymond's, Fischer Counter Company and eventually, his pride and joy, Bargaineer of Weymouth.
