Obituary: Polly Parsons Nash

NASH, Polly Parsons Passed away peacefully on July 16 at the age of 78. Daughter of Helen Wilcox Parsons and Brackett Parsons of Wellesley Hills, MA, and sister of the late Susan Parsons of Boston, she attended Beaver Country Day School in Brookline, before attending Colby Junior College (now Colby Sawyer), where she graduated in 1955. She became a licensed Occupational Therapist upon graduation from the Tufts School of Occupational Therapy.While waiting in line to give blood at the Massachusetts General Hospital, she met her future husband John Nash. They married in 1958 and moved to Duxbury, MA in 1959 where they raised three children. Her 56 years with John began at MGH and ended at this extraordinary institution. After ...

COLEMAN, Paul Howard, 84, of Duxbury passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. He was born May 11, 1930 in Providence, RI. Paul Graduated from Coyle High School in 1948. He went on to work at Filenes Basement, Raymond's, Fischer Counter Company and eventually, his pride and joy, Bargaineer of Weymouth. He married his beloved wife Mary on October 18, 1952, and found love and companionship with her for the past 62 years. They lived together in Braintree, MA, raising eight children together, before moving to Duxbury and retiring in Naples FL. Mahaney, John M. Korean Conflict Veteran; Court Reporter. John passed away July 7, 2014. He was the third of eight children born to Marion L. (Fay) and Charles E. Mahaney of Natick. John served in the Army, earning the Combat Infantryman Badge. He then enrolled in the Stenotype Institute of Boston where he met the love of his life, Judith (Cutter) Mahaney. From 1959 until 2013, John worked as a court reporter. He opened his own business, Mahaney Reporting Services, in 1978; now run by his oldest son Dave. Daves death was preceded by that of his wife of 50 years, Joy Mooney Jenkins. Dave was the son of the late George O. Jenkins and Marcia Godfrey Jenkins.
