Ellison, Alfred Benjamin Age 96, died peacefully Wednesday, July 16th, 2014 at Carlyle House Nursing Home in Framingham with three generations of family at his side. Son of the late Clarabel and Verne Ellison of Longmeadow. Beloved husband for 72 years of Elsa Eleanor Tryba Ellison. Devoted and loving father of Randall and his wife Geraldine of Needham; Mark and his wife Mary Frances of Hephzibah GA; Elyse Breault and husband Mel of Framingham; the late Tad and his wife Victoria of Marlborough; and Kurt and his wife Deborah of Concord NH. Obituary: Frances Scott

Scott, Frances (Philipon) 94, of Marlborough, formerly of Sudbury and Osterville, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at St. Patrick Manor, Framingham. She was married 56 years to the late Murray M. Scott who died in April 2007. Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late Estrotios and Fernande (Guillot) Philipon. Mrs. Scott worked for many years for Liberty Mutual Life Insurance and the Goldfarb Library at Brandeis University. She was active in the Thursday Garden Club in Sudbury and Osterville Garden Club. Shambroom, Gloria "Perry" A mother and special education teacher, died on Saturday, July 12, two weeks after celebrating her 90th birthday. She is survived by her six sons, David, Donald, Glenn, Paul, Eric and John. Perry always said that raising six boys was her proudest accomplishment. A daughter of George and Clara "Kitty" Perryman, Perry was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, in 1924. Her father was an inventor and manufacturer in the early days of vacuum tubes and throughout his life. She graduated from the University of Rochester before starting her family. Later in life she earned a masters degree in special education, and taught for many years in the Teaneck school system.
