Obituary: Deena Strauss Beals

Beals, Deena Strauss Of Marshfield, passed away on Sunday 3rd August, in her 62nd year. She was the founder and owner of Harmony Wellness Center in Hanover, Massachusetts, where she worked as a counselor and therapist. A memorial service will take place on Sunday 24th August at 5 o'clock in the afternoon, at Congregation Sha'aray Shalom, 1112 Main Street, Hingham, MA 02043. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to South Shore Visiting Nurse Association, or to Hospice of the South Shore.

Obituary: Walter Stanley Unis

Unis, Walter Stanley Longtime resident of Marshfield, MA, 91, died on August 7, 2014. Born in Simpson, PA, he served in the Army as an MP at the end of WWII. He had a BA from Scranton University and a MA from Villanova University in education. He taught science first in the Philadelphia and then in the Marshfield school systems for a total of 31 years. He was also a counselor at Camp Daniel Webster and a Little League coach and umpire. He is survived by his wife, Anne (Norton); his seven children, Joanne, Mary Jeanne, Robert, Walter Jr., Mark, Stephen, and Julia; his ten grandchildren, Elizabeth, Cody, Patrick, Riley, Erin, Shawn, Nancy, Linda, Elaine, and Kaitlyn; and one great-grandchild ...

Skinnion, John D. Of Marshfield, passed away on August 4, 2014 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Mary Skinnion. Loving father of Robert Skinnion and his wife Mary Ann of Boxford, Joanne Skinnion of Marshfield, Marie Martin and her husband Dan of Kingston and Jean Jeremiah and her husband Ricardo of Hanover. Loving grandfather of Robert, Lauren, Rachel, Danielle, Eric and Alexander. John was born and raised in Dorchester. He summered in Marshfield his entire life before moving there permanently 16 years ago. John worked for the Federal Reserve Bank and the MBTA where he retired after 25 years of service.
