Obituary: Janice Wingfield

Wingfield, Janice Janice Elaine (Bennett) Wingfield, a longtime resident of Newburyport, passed away July 28 at Anna Jaques Hospital. Born in Boston March 3rd 1927, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Bennett and Geraldine (Martin) Bennett. Janice was married to William P. Wingfield, who predeceased her in 2011 after 64 years of marriage. Janice was educated in the Boston school system. Upon graduation, Janice went to work in the garment district as a seamstress. Janice and her husband moved to Newburyport in the 1950s where she worked for New England Telephone until her retirement in the late 1980s. Janice was first and foremost a family person. ROBINSON, Charlotte At 96 years, July 30, 2014 of Newburyport, formerly of Amesbury and Sharon. Wife of the late Nathan Robinson. Mother of Phyllis Robinson and her partner Kathy Marmor of Baltimore and Steven Robinson and his wife Cate Miller of Amesbury. Grandmother of Isabella, Bram and Nora Robinson. Sister of the late Jerome Goldstein. She was born and educated in Boston where she taught in the Public Schools for 30 years. She was devoted to her family and friends.
