Halloween Safety Tips Posted

The Revere Police have issued the following Halloween Safety Tips Younger children should always walk with an adult. Older children should always walk in a group. Use flashlights, glow sticks, or reflective tape to make it easier to be seen. Do not go to any dark, unlit houses. Do not go inside a stranger’s house. Cross at crosswalks and make eye contact with drivers before crossing. Walk, don’t run! Pay attention when walking past driveways to make sure cars aren’t pulling in or out. Wear non-toxic make up instead of a mask, which may hinder sight. If you wear a mask, make sure it fits well. Costumes and shoes should fit to avoid trips and falls. Costume accessories such as ...

Voters Set for Election Day on Tuesday Nov. 4

The campaigns are in their final week and on Tuesday, Nov. 4 voters will have their say in selecting our leaders in government for the next four years. Gov. Deval Patrick has decided not to seek re-election after two terms in office so there will be a new chief executive come January. Candidates Charlie Baker, Martha Coakley, Evan Falchuk and Jeff McCormack have been campaigning throughout the state trying to convey their message to the voters.
