Obituary: Ann M. Fortune

FORTUNE, Ann M. (O'Brien) 72, of Bridgewater, died unexpectedly, but peacefully on July 16. Ann was the daughter of the late John and Noreen O'Brien. She grew up in Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Jamaica Plan High School. Ann was married to her high school sweetheart, Stephen for over 50 years. They raised their family in Boston, Brockton and Bridgewater. Ann embodied compassion, generosity, kindness and great love. To say she was selfless was an understatement. Boston police say a Madison Park High School student was rushed to a nearby hospital after he was attacked on Malcolm X Boulevard in Roxbury on Wednesday morning, The Boston Globe reported.
