Obituary: Eileen F. Perrotta

PERROTTA, Eileen F. (McCauley) Of Scituate, July 19. Devoted mother of Lisa Perrotta of Walpole. Sister of Rita McCauley of Braintree and Marguerite McCauley of Norwell. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Hills Church, Thurs., July 24 at 10 o'clock. Obituary: William Eugene Hogan

HOGAN, William Eugene 75 years of age, of Scituate, passed away July 14, 2014. Born, raised and educated in Cambridge, he was a graduate of Cambridge Latin and Boston University. William retired after 40 years of service, as a district manager of pharmaceuticals with the Wyeth-Pfizer Company. He moved to Scituate in 1974. William enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing, golfing, reading, operating his ham radio, as well as being a mentor to everyone. He is survived by his beloved wife Audrey (Mullally) Hogan. DUFFEY, John F. Jr. Age 93, of Scituate, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2014 with family at his side. Beloved husband of the late Mary Carmel (Manning) Duffey. Devoted father of Joseph Duffey and wife Cathy of Scituate; Michael Duffey and wife Debbie of Louisville, KY; Thomas Duffey of Scituate; Moira Carpenter of West Hartford, CT; and Brendan Duffey of Scituate. Born in Boston to the late Attorney Robert and Elizabeth Haufler, Diane grew up in Scituate and resided in Marshfield with her loving husband of 41 years, G. Stephen Miers. Diane was a schoolteacher of 34 years in the Marshfield Public Schools retiring from the South River Elementary School. Together with her husband Steve, Diane was a real estate developer of several properties including the Pem-Marsh Plaza in Pembroke, where she owned and operated The Donut Tree for many years. McCARTHY, Francis Xavier (Papa) Of Scituate, born August 20, 1938, and raised in Dorchester, MA and Chula Vista, CA, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of July 11th. The oldest child of Henry and Evelyn McCarthy, Francis was the proud and devoted husband of Hilary McCarthy for 45 years, and beloved father of Catherine Devlin of Hingham, Christopher McCarthy of Norwell, and Stephen McCarthy of Hanover.
