Obituary: John Devincent

DeVincent, John "Jack" 79, of Naples, FL, died on June 18, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in 1934 in Waltham, MA to the late John and Sophie (D'Angelo) DeVincent. He owned and operated the Cottage Crest Restaurant in Waltham, MA until his retirement to Naples, FL. Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle DeVincent (McDonough); daughter, Jacquelyne DeVincent of Seattle, WA, son, Stephen DeVincent, DVM of Copenhagen, DK; brother, Ernie (Betty) DeVincent of Rochester, MA; and sister, Elaine (George) Millerick of Waltham.

Fire destroys Waltham house under construction

See it larger. ItalianInBoston watched a fire on Charles Street in Waltham early this morning. NECN reports the fire spread from the unfinished house to an occupied one next door, but that residents got out safely.
