While researching the latest happenings at Meiomi I came across an interesting development. It appears that the guy behind Meiomi - Joseph Wagner of the Wagner Family of Wines responsible for Caymus and other brands - has launched his own mini empire.I met Joe back in 2012 at a paired dinner at the Boston Wine Festival (event report). He was representing the Wagner family's wines in a retrospective tasting of Caymus Special Selection as well as thier other brands (Mer Soleil, Conundrum, and Meiomi). Great guy.
